Erie police detectives have charged a fourth suspect in a reported armed home-invasion robbery at an eastside residence in December.
Marlon M. Dorsey, 21, was arraigned Monday by Erie 6th Ward District Judge Timothy Beveridge on felony counts of robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery and theft and on a misdemeanor count of receiving stolen property in the Dec. 19 robbery at a residence in the 1100 block of East 29th Street.
Detectives accuse Dorsey of taking part in a robbery in which the victims were robbed at gunpoint of cash and two handguns that were taken from a safe inside the residence, according to case documents.
Erie police have made another arrest in their ongoing investigations into a pair of armed robberies in December.
Erie resident Kyle M. Quinn, 24, was taken into custody on Wednesday morning following what police called a pursuit, and he was awaiting arraignment on charges in two criminal cases.
Investigators accuse Quinn of taking part in an armed home-invasion robbery at a residence in the 1100 block of East 29th Street on Dec. 19 and the armed robbery of the S&A Market at 2690 Cherry St. on Dec. 24.
Cash and two guns were stolen in the home-invasion robbery. Cash, a store clerk s gun, and other items were stolen in the market robbery, according to detectives.
The defendant, Jashawn J. Eaddy, 17, is now facing more charges in other gun-related cases.
Eaddy has been serving a 40-month period of probation after he pleaded no contest in February to a third-degree felony count of robbery in an Erie police investigation of an armed robbery in April 2019, according to court records.
Eaddy was 15 at the time of that crime but was prosecuted as an adult under the Fisher Bill, the state law that permits juveniles accused of committing a violent crime to be charged as adults. Erie police also charged Eaddy as an adult in the new cases.
Following Tuesday s shooting, Erie police detectives on Thursday charged Eaddy in an armed home-invasion robbery at an eastside residence on Dec. 19 and in the armed robbery of a westside convenience store on Christmas Eve.
