The Atlanta Journal-Constitution created this searchable list of the most persistently dangerous apartment complexes in the Atlanta metro area in recent years and provides the reasons that each complex puts residents at risk. The AJC examined records from dozens of government agencies in order to produce the list of 275 complexes, as part of the Dangerous Dwellings series.
The African American Museum of Philadelphia is moving into the former Family Court building at 1801 Vine St. as part of a larger redevelopment project along the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. An adjacent lot operated by the PPA will be converted into a Children and Family Center at the Free Library of Philadelphia. Four development teams have been tapped as finalists for the project, which is expected to take five years to complete.
Roughly 600 higher education institutions have closed since 2017, many of them small private schools, and their campuses present redevelopment opportunities.
