The letter said: Visva-Bharati is like a vessel which is carrying the cargo of my life’s best treasure, and I hope it may claim special care from my countrymen for its preservation”. A century after being founded in 1921, Tagore’s life’s treasure - the Visva-Bharati University - may now be in peril. Far from being preserved, that vessel - which will have its centenary celebration this December - is rocking. ....

However, seroprevalence varies widely between cities - with the highest estimates found in Rasht (72.6%) and the lowest in Sanandaj (1.7%) although some cities had small samples sizes. Despite high seroprevalence in a few cities, a large proportion of population is still uninfected. The potential shortcomings of current public health policies should therefore be identified to prevent future epidemic waves in Iran. ....
