Crackle s Playing With Power: The Nintendo Story Documentary Series Gets A New Trailer
You may recall that earlier this month, a new five-part documentary series called
Playing with Power: The Nintendo Story was announced. Launching through streaming service Crackle on March 1st for free, we ve now got a first look trailer via IGN.
Starting from Nintendo s early origins in the 1800s, the trailer sets a rather critical tone towards Nintendo s history, and several former Nintendo of America staff are weighing in. That includes Reggie Fils-Aimé, NoA s co-founder Ron Judy, Howard Gamemaster Phillips and NOA s former VP for Marketing, Perrin Kaplan.

Not to be confused with GamesMaster s TV revival, this tell-all book promises to reveal Howard s insights from his time at Nintendo, including behind-the-scenes details about the Universal City Studios, Inc. v. Nintendo Co., Ltd. lawsuit over Donkey Kong. Ending on March 11th, it s already been funded, hitting just under $33,000 at the time of writing.
