Reporter as the bay area prepares for a thanksgiving unlike any other, Santa Clara County has another urgent warning for the public. Do not have gatherings and do not travel. Period. Reporter today, 512 new cases of covid19 were reported county wide. A new record for the highest daily case count since the start of the pandemic. Volunteers are busy setting up tables and putting up signs. The tables are set up to allow for social distancing, aside from those few changes it will be the same glide thanksgiving meal that thousands demand on each year. Glide has continued to serve food three meals a day since the start of the pandemic. That has not stopped. Organizers say there was never a doubt they would do thanksgiving, the issue was how.
