Clemson Concludes Head of the Charles

Boston, MA. – Clemson wrapped up their two days of competition at Head of the Charles this Sunday. The Tiger’s raced in the Women’s Club Four on Saturday and the Women’s Championship Eight Sunday. The Clemson Tiger’s trip started off Saturday afternoon with the Women’s Club Fours. The line-up for the race was as follows: Jaysen Hall at stroke, Emma Randolph, Claudia Scherbin, Caroline Emerson at bow, and Salma Shaalan as coxswain. While the boat originally placed fourth, they were later disqualified from the race by the officials. Next, Clemson raced in the Women’s Championship Eights on Sunday. The line-up for this race was as follows: Christina Minyo at coxswain, Anna Luttrell at stroke, Lori Belanger, Isabel Velasquez, Rachel Twitty, Amelia Rinehart, Amelia Anglin, Emerey Sampson, and Hannah Hayes at bow. Clemson Took Care of Business at Secret City Head Race

ROWING FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE OCT. 8, 2022   ClemsonTigers.com Link -    Knoxville, TN. – The Clemson Tigers rowing team competed in their first regatta of the fall 2022 season at Oak Ridge Rowing on Saturday. The Tigers had boats represented in the 1N8+, 2N8+, 1V8+. 2V8+, as well as four boats in the Varsity Open Fours. Clemson medaled in each race that they competed in, earning eight total. Clemson’s Novice started the day off strong for the Tigers, as both boats medaled. 1N8 finished first at an impressive time of 17:50.4. 2NB followed shortly behind and finished third at 20:19.8. The Varsity Eights took to the water next for Clemson. Finishing at 17:09, Clemson’s 1V8 came in second. Meanwhile, 2V8 finished fourth at 18:10.4. The Novice continued to impress in the Novice fours as 1N4 earned first at 20:25.2 and 2N4 earned second at 21:18.1. Varsity would wrap up race day for the Tigers with the Open Fours.
