Were seeing mist, drizzle, light showers scattered around the bay area. In the north bay by clear lake and upper lake, we have some showers. Down along san rafael 101, scattered showers in the city. Los gatos, highway 17. Just three miles of visibility in concord and santa rosa. Southerly winds up to 28 miles an hour. We saw highs today of 70 in san jose. Our next system is a 1 on our storm impact scale. Well be timing it out for you tonight when the showers become a little more numerous as we head towards the morning commute. As we go through the 9 00 hour, some pretty good downpours from the north bay, spreading south through San Francisco. The sentencing hearing, which is still taking place on the second floor of the hall of justice behind me here in San Francisco was just in recess. It is back in session. It is expected that the judge will sentence Jose Ines Garcia zarate to the maximum three years in prison after being convicted of a firearm possession in the death of kate steinle. Again, that sentencing has not taken place yet, this is what legal experts are expecting. Hes likely fulfilled that sentence given time served. Zarate was acquitted in the 2015 shooting death of steinle at San Franciscos pier 14. This is after the jury decided he was not guilty of murder and manslaughter charges. This morning, his defense team will argue for a retrial on that possession conviction. His lawyers claim the jury was not informed about transitory possession, thats ....
