Reporter it was skye brunettis morning routine to take the family dog, walk her son to the bus stop, then return home. But this morning she didnt make it home. Police say 50yearold Barbara Caton of east islip driving this White Chrysler jumped the curb and killed brunetti and her dog. Police arent releasing details on what caused her to veer off union boulevard. The car struck the 25yearold right in front of her home. Caton was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Many of brunettis friends and family members came to the scene in disbelief. She was an amazing person. More than anything. Brunettis brother told me the car was speeding before it hit her.
