we start with the travel business, because as you ve been hearing, the uk is about to announce a shake up of its covid rules for international travel. airlines and tour operators have been pushing for simpler rules on destinations, instead of the so called traffic light system of green, amber and red lists. and they want compulsory pcr covid tests to be scrapped, arguing the cost has been putting people off travelling, as our transport correspondent caroline davies explains. there have been hints that now people are vaccinated, they could be swapped for lateral flow test, the cheaper option. that could still prove controversial with some people in public health. other things the industry wants to see our things like moving from the traffic light system to just a red list and an open list system as well, so simplification there. the industry are really piling on the pressure on the government. thurlow comes to an end at the end of this month and they still have thousan ....
