18-year-old threatened to kill victim after armed robbery: police

HOBOKEN An 18-year-old stole over $600 in cash and $200 worth of merchandise on sale and threatened to kill a man if he did anything about it, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said.
Angel Sanabria Jr., of Hoboken, has been charged with robbery, aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, terroristic threats, criminal mischief and theft.
Around 12:25 a.m. Saturday, Sgt. David DiMartino and Officer Joshua Campoverde responded to 6th and Washington streets on the report of an armed robbery.
The officers were given a description of the suspect and were told he brandished a black handgun during the crime, threatening “to kill” the victim. Afterwards, the suspect fled south on Washington Street with the valuables, Suarez said.
