As some of you may be aware, we lost quorum at the last Police Commission meeting due to technical difficulties beyond our control. So at that time, we had completed the chiefs report, the d. P. A. Directors report, and line item 1 before we had to adjourn. Were going to pick up tonight where we left off, so its going to be the president ial report, commission report, and Public Comment. We want to make sure the public has an opportunity to comment on items from the august 19 agenda. So thats how were going to proceed, and then after that, we will continue the remaining items on the september 2 and tonights meeting, and once thats done, we will adjourn that meeting and begin september 2. But i would be happy to be involved in the conversation and see how we can maybe get a few more organizations that have the trust and the relationships with the latin x and africanamerican communities in San Francisco because for different reasons, those are the two communities that are underrepresented in their voting and to not have at least a number of organizations focused on those hardesttoreach communities, i think, is a problem. And so, maybe we can figure this out and this can be some of our followup. That would be great. Mom and dad will probably live their entire lives on that facility in a pin whether its smaller or a larger size but theyre not themselves hence they are breeding stock they they typically dont come in the house and snuggle on the couch. They have no idea what life is is about because they spend 247 in a cage when you came into one of these puppy mills you would just see one on top of another in these Little Chicken wire crates.
