They re ripping off the united states and they re ripping you off. I don t care. I don t want to do that. Either they pay up, including for past deficiencies, or they have to get out. And if it breaks up nato, it breaks up nato. I just want all of europe to know that the united states is there. The united states is there. I want to make it clear, nato is critically important for u. S. Interest in and of itself. If there weren t one, we would have to invent one. Nato leaders also used the meeting to show a unified front against threats from russia and china. The group collectively declared china a security challenge.
