good afternoon how are you? good. i am glad to have an opportunity to talk to you with your new book how this makes everyone less safe we know each other and have been on previous panels together but i would like to ask there is a section about whether or not if the police are racist when is your definition? you talk a lot about it in the book so how should we take your definition? i think it is high style treatment to the person on the basis of his skin color. host: a person would be a vote racist. to make judgments about someone based on skin color alone and not even as part of another set of characteristics that we hear from the black lives matter movement that cops are racist and in minority neighborhoods and oppressing people in those communities and presumably because there is never any explanation as to why officers would be in those communities so i am simply adopting a phrase that is often bandied about by the black lives matter protesters i go to t ....
