stoplighting fireworks on the beach when they were not supposed to do it. then they were attacked. john: any arrests made yet, jeff? yeah, sandra and john, no arrests as of yet, but since the marines, not in uniform were on the ground and kicked by a large group, consider it a case of assault with a deadly weapon. and the video, we should warn, extremely violent, were not more seriously hurt. as many as 40 people were said to be involved in the beating. marines say they were just enjoying san clemente beach friday night. we don t know what happened prior to the video being taken, the victims say the teens were lighting off fireworks. when debris hit one of them in the face from the fireworks, the men say they asked the group to stop, appears some shoving and then jumped and stomped on. some bystanders eventually stepped in to stop the beating. the mayor says the marines are always welcome in his city and celebrated and that s why he feels this attack was tragic and ....
