good morning, kit. reporter: good morning. this is still a very active scene, as you can see for yourself in east san jose. they don t know where the suspects are. they could be inside or outside of the perimeter. once everything is cleared, it will be safe for officers to go door to door and get more information. the call came in last night around midnight of a man own levon avenue near story and king roads. officers found the man laying next to his vehicle where he was declared dead. they believe there was some kind of party beforehand, but that is unconfirmed. the man died of gun shot wounds. a community center and also middle school. both those areas are under lockdown for now. we still have very active crime scene. we are searching perimeter that we have set up in this area in hopes of finding those suspects. we are at the early stages of our investigation in terms of determining what happened. now the victim was in his 30s. investigators are on the scene here from
