The left institute hosts a summit on sentencing laws. Participants include federal judges, advocates and states attorneys general. Its live this morning here at 8 45 here on cspan2. The American Conservative Union annual conservative Political Action conference wrapped up saturday. Its chair, matt schlapp, spoke at the event friday and talked about the conservative message and the need for the Republican Party to stay united in order to win in november. I say that facetiously in the same direction. I have never seen closer alignment on the federal side and the non federal side with the appreciation we need to find ways to accommodate all of the innovative ideas, the growth and challenging the need for more spectrum, and they check their smart phones and get into the car, checking at home and so forth and what you saw on the screen, the Driverless Cars a little bit farther out but things where you get up in the morning and the device is checking how you are doing today, do you need to go in and get a checkup . This is enabling all sorts of new applications that will improve our lives in the economy.
