Goes into effect right now. Good afternoon. Im tori campbell. We are following breaking news. Firefighters just reduced two window watchers. They have been stuck for about an hour. About 30 minutes ago we saw the first rescue as the window washer was pulled up to the roof of the 24 story highrise on broadway and 11th street. The second man was pulled to safety about seven minutes later. Firefighters were called just before 11 00 this morning. Apparently a motor to cables on the window washing equipment failed leaving the window washers trapped outside the building. Broadway was shut down between 11th and 12th street as a firefighters repelled down to those workers. Take a look at this picture from inside the 24th floor on broadway.
