last weekend got to 97, we are off to a steamy start. reagan international, near 80 by the bay. away from the waters on the eastern shore low and mid-70s. they ve had heavy downpours there as well as the northern neck this morning. and as we look to our west, the temperatures in most locations in the low and mid-70s with a thick haze in the air. and the radar scanning the sky, picking up one thundershower. looks like it s diminishing east of the northern neck of virginia over the lower part of the bay. that s drifting ever so slowly to the east. little bit of thunder and lightning there. there s the sky, the eastern horizon, the sunrise in a couple of minutes, and not going to see much sun with the thick haze early this morning. the temperatures by 9:00 should be in the mid-80s, noontime, near 90 with the hazy sunshine, and mid afternoon ought to peak in the low 90s. and that is still above the average high this time of year, which is 89. but still, big break from the e ....
