I am told that a solo female officer responded to a call this morning of a reported dispute and assault at about 8 30 this morning. When she arrived, police say the suspect attacked her with a metal object. Sources tell us that object was some kind of chain, perhaps a bicycle chain. The officer was reportedly hit in the head and face. When she fired her again at the affect, fatally striking him. Im told the suspects body has removed about the coroner and the officer is being treated at Highland Hospital for injuries to her face and her head. We are told that her injuries are serious, but she is going to recover. That crash landing this afternoon. This is the breton Bay Golf Course. Were being kept at a very far distance from the actual scene where the investigation is taking place, but this gives you an idea. We have photos, we do have video of the scene. This is a photo from baynet. Com, a reporter was able to get close to the wreckage when it happened. Also our chopper 4 was able to get some images of the scene from a distance. This is a black hawk helicopter that made a hard landing just before 2 00 this afternoon. We understand that there were three people on board this helicopter.
