live from the kgo tv broadcast center, this is abc7 news. a blockade of police officers keeps protesters from marching onto the bay bridge, officer also probably have to do the same thing tomorrow. that protest started about 1:00 this afternoon when 200 demonstrators stopped traffic, blocking the entrance to 80, bringing traffic to a stand still. but they were met at each ramp with a line of police and highway patrol officers. we went to the freeway because that s the only way to get them to listen. lots of people are caught up in traffic. what do you tell them sp i apologize for the inconvenience, but this gets people to listen. reporter: there was a lot of anger aimed at officers during this protest, but the sniper shootings in dallas where five police officers were killed did affect protesters. i wouldn t wish death upon anyone, because i ve lost a loved one. reporter: after five hours, the group disbursed without any arrests. there is a group of proteste
arrested 32-year-old jaylon brown, 23-year-old larry young and 27-year-old lovie rosul, all from the stockton and sacramento area. they were arrested for kidnapping for ransom and police tell us it s possible the victim may have known at least one of these suspects, but they won t tell us the connection. again, both the u.s. marshal s office and the fbi are now involved in this case. reporting live in vallejo, marianne favro, nbc bay area news. thanks for the details. now to a developing story in san francisco where protesters upset over recent police shootings are once again disrupting traffic. take a look at this. this is the fremont street offramp from the bay bridge. they also tried to get on the bridge but now police officers are blocking them. we have to do something for them to turn their heads and see we re serious about what s going on and wanting it to stop. reporter: today s protests follow another that was held last night in which hundreds of people marche
