The Alameda CountyFire Department was aggressive in their attack in search techniques and were able to make a successful rescue with hopefully a good outcome. Reporter there were three kids in the home when the fire started just before 8 30 am this morning, the 16yearold girl was badly hurt and her 17 yearold brother, and they have and eightyearold nephew, and the 17yearold and ayearold have minor injuries, and heres a picture of the youngest boy as he was taken away by the paramedics. We have just learned that there happened to be a neighbor driving by just as the fire broke out, and this man rushed into the burning home trying to rescue the girl that was trapped inside.
