her car seat in pasadena, maryland. he tells news4 s darcy spencer, he couldn t believe what he saw. in the back of my mind, we said, wow, what is the world coming to? reporter: bishop raymond shillwell found a baby girl in a car seat in the middle of the street as he returned from church on the fourth of july just before midnight. when we went out and checked it out and then we said, oh, wow, somebody s actually left a baby here. reporter: the baby believed to be two or three months old did not appear to be hurt. she was just sitting there quietly at first but then when she saw other people around, then she just started crying and we said, well, wow, i don t know who would have done something like that. reporter: there is no sign of what happened on this quiet street last night, except for this some formula that spilled out from the baby s diaper bag. by late morning the baby s mom came forward and was being questioned by police. we don t know right now if foul
