Vaccines continue to protect you against hospitalization and death. with the new delta variant, a chance of a breakthrough infection is not zero. worse yet, there s a small chance you can pass a breakthrough infection on to someone you love. many of us have kids at home or parents who we re worried about. what i m telling most people now is to wear a mask, if you re in an indoors location with people who do you don t know. who you aren t sure are vaccinated. if you re in a crowded location, wear a mask no matter what. yeah. and the cdc is urging cities to move ahead with mass mandates. reimpose those. we know it can spread. the delta variant is contagious. it can spread even if you re vaccinated. is wearing mask going to be enough indoors? so i really think of it as being a level of layers and protections. you know, when we drive a car, we wear a seat belt. we also don t speed. if it s raining, we slow down. most of us have cars with air bags and anti-lock breaks and we try to avoi ....
