ROYAL OAK On Feb. 26, 44th District Court Magistrate Donald Chisholm arraigned Jelane Kay Rohm, 46, of Kalamazoo, on two counts of armed robbery, a felony punishable by up to life in prison.
At approximately 12:44 p.m. Feb. 25, Royal Oak police responded to a report of an armed robbery at Walgreens Pharmacy, 30852 Woodward Ave., south of 13 Mile Road.
Lt. Al Carter, of the Royal Oak Police Department, said the store manager called 911 after a clerk informed the manager that a woman in her 40s had just left the store with cash and merchandise after producing a handwritten note claiming to have a bomb in her handbag.

ROYAL OAK A 44-year-old Grosse Pointe Woods man was arraigned recently after he allegedly followed a young woman from a Target store in Warren to a Kroger in Royal Oak, waited for her to finish grocery shopping and then performed a lewd act on himself Dec. 9.
On Dec. 11, Magistrate Nancy Orletski, of the 44th District Court, arraigned Steven Michael Timmermans on one count of obscene conduct, a misdemeanor punishable by up to 90 days in jail and/or a $100 fine.
