ROYAL OAK — On Feb. 26, 44th District Court Magistrate Donald Chisholm arraigned Jelane Kay Rohm, 46, of Kalamazoo, on two counts of armed robbery, a felony punishable by up to life in prison.
At approximately 12:44 p.m. Feb. 25, Royal Oak police responded to a report of an armed robbery at Walgreens Pharmacy, 30852 Woodward Ave., south of 13 Mile Road.
Lt. Al Carter, of the Royal Oak Police Department, said the store manager called 911 after a clerk informed the manager that a woman in her 40s had just left the store with cash and merchandise after producing a handwritten note claiming to have a bomb in her handbag.
