protest this bill that limits retailers ability to confront thieves and requires businesses to hire private security to stop criminal. some call it a license to steal. rather than sending my kids to school, to university, i should teach them how to steal. go to the store, grab 950 or less, come home. so the bill requires retailers to file a workplace violence prevention plan and stipulates only private security can confront stop lifters. otherwise cal osha can fine them per incident. they must provide trauma counselors to those if it happens. this is a terrible bill. a terrible bill that seeks to put all the burden on the business owners for the lawlessness that we are experiencing in california. it s wrong. john you ll recall that prop 47 many say was the source of this problem, basically allowed people to come and steal under $1,000, but rather than fix that, this is the solution, back to you. john: william in los angeles, thank you. sandra. sandra: alert ....
