Finding homes for his 18 dogs. Twelve of the dogs are now at the shelter. The Humane Society says the man took very good care of and loved all his dogs. These were dogs that he rescued. These were stray dogs, abandoned dogs, or dogs that nobody wanted,said kelly erie, assistant shelter manager. Draft proposal that would ban alcohol year round on all state beaches. The proposed ban would apply to the sand or fenced in areas of the beach, the swimming area, and a 200 foot land buffer surrounding those areas. The ban is being considered because incidents have revealed patterns of excessive consumption of alchol at several state beaches which threatens the safety of the general public. But there was extra security and the doors remained locked after two teens wandered into the building yesterday. Friday was quiet at yankton high school. After buzz in the community about an incident at the high school on thursday. Two teens, identified as 18 yr old Joseph Vanbuskirk and 19 yr old adam gerard. Showed up at yankton high, but didnt check in at the office. The usd students, who have no known connection to yankton, were kicked out and School Officials got suspicious. They contacted police who pulled the pair over on their way out of town. During an ientory search of the vehicle, two unloaded weapons were found in the truck of the car.
