Warming things up by later this afternoon courtesy of a southwesterly breeze. Well have dry pavement bright sunshine temperatures a little below freezing for the morning commute. Then after that well quickly warm. For the afternoon commute, we should be soaring into the upper 40s. Dry roads. Just a few clouds. Noontime temperatures in the mid to upper 30s much of the region. Then by mid to late afternoon, should be hovering quickly in the mid to upper 40s metro area. Maybe even mere 50 degrees from fredericksburg over to culpepper. Mid to upper 40s Prince Georges County Montgomery Fairfax county. And then just near 40 farther to our north and west. Low 40s for highs neighborhoods around the bay by later this afternoon. And then well start to change over to rain, but temperatures will still be marginal so that we will have the light coating of freezing rain, the ice that falls on top of the sleet and snow. Good news, though, we dont have nearly as much moisture in this forecast as we did with the one last saturday. So just light accumulations.
