Video shows the moment a woman driving a white suv drove into the crowd. Police say the driver. She had items thrown at the vehicle. She tried to get through the crowd as quickly as possible to get out of there. This is the Vantage Point of the escort. Reflective sleep in the headlight lighting the way. The cyclist tries to get the driver to slow down. The vehicle slows and then accelerates toward the crowd. Aside from marching down the street, we had done absolutely nothing to provoke her. Video shows earlier encounters where drivers pull to the side and drove through no problem. The incident was the only altercation that night. The protest was peaceful up until this incident occurred. A teenage boy was slightly injured after being hit. Police say they have no reports of injuries. The driver eventually pulled over to report the incident and said she was assaulted. According to her, punched her through her open window and took off. The driver described as female has not been arrested.

No traffic is moving on the western span of the bay bridge. As you look at that shot right there, you can see some of those folks out there on the bridge. Were talking about around a dozen or two dozen people on that bridge. Ive seen some other pictures out there this evening of the standstill and the backup before this area, the area that has been closed down because people literally waiting in their cars for this situation to be cleared where they can open this up to traffic.
