Second warehouse in the works A nearly 200,000-square-foot warehouse and distribution center that will include a parking lot for trailers and trucks will occupy the second parcel of land directly east of Wooster Brush, said Jacob Holdeman, development associate at Indiana-based development firm Scannell Properties. Approved a motion to purchase 4,000 tons of roadway salt for the upcoming winter season. Nearly 4,700 tons of salt is used each winter on average in Wooster. Despite using 500 tons less this past winter, the city stockpile sits at 3,900 tons. This purchase will be made using the 2022 budget. ....
