When the pandemic hit last spring, Mercy Health-St. Rita’s Medical Center had to adapt overnight to a new normal. “Within the walls of the hospital, we had to look at the various roles and skills of our healthcare workforce and be ready to adapt and to be working in different areas to use different skills and to be willing to be trained in new areas,” said Ronda Lehman, president of Mercy Health Lima. “We needed to reach out to patients in a different way. Mercy Health has opened a new 42,000-square-foot facility at 3570 Henry Street, previously the location of the former Kmart, in Norton Shores. The $19 million facility offers Primary Care, Behavioral Health, X-ray, Lab Services, Lakeshore Laser and Aesthetics and Rehabilitation Services including Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy. It will also include Pharmacy and Urgent Care, which Mercy Health said would open at a later date. ....

Visitor Information In an effort to keep the number of people onsite to a minimum, individuals scheduled for an appointment are asked to come to DeVos Place by themselves unless they need assistance or require a legal guardian or a Durable Power of Attorney for Healthcare, to accompany them.
