LAC discusses uses of grant funds to increase mental health awareness
Last updated 1/12/2021 at 11:48am Hill County Behavioral Health Local Advisory Council members discussed plans for a $20,000 grant received by the county from the Addictive and Mental Disorders Division of the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services, and how it could be used. LAC Chair Andi Daniel said she spoke with Hill County Public Health Director and Health Officer Kim Larson, who told her that the terms of the grant, which did not include many of the activities council members hoped to use the funds for, could be amended to include training and service increases as possible uses for the funds. ....

Hill County Behavioral Health Local Advisory Council listened to a presentation Monday about the CONNECT Referral System, which is being set up throughout Montana, and what it can offer organizations like theirs. Coordinator for the Hill County Youth Reporting Center Matt Erdel gave the presentation and said he wanted to talk about system and its benefits.
