Check this out. A giant sink hole shut down part of ifive. Its going to take a couple days to repair. It started this morning when caltrans is doing maintenance on the highway and crews discovered a sink hole only about a foot wide at the time. It started splitting and taking over a lane by afternoon. That is when caltrans decided to close all northbound traffic at this location. Crews are tearing up pavement around it to make repairs.
