This is a fantastic recording. If you aren t yet hip to this legendary pianist, pick this up and enjoy. Essential modern day jazz | 02/27/2001 (5 out of 5 stars) Essential! What can you say? The man s a genuis. One listen to Poinciana and you ll give it all up. A modern day jazz giant and crystal clear recording as well. An early digital recording (1987) that sounds better and better with each play. Listen to Wave and Biencavo, but especially Poinciana. There s a reason why it heads up the album!
