| 07/25/2001 (5 out of 5 stars) I rememeber hearing La Costa on the radio back in 1986, and immediately digging Ahmad Jamal s treatment of that Natalie Cole tune. This is a fantastic recording. If you aren t yet hip to this legendary pianist, pick this up and enjoy.

An early digital recording (1987) that sounds better and better with each play. Listen to Wave and Biencavo, but especially Poinciana. There s a reason why it heads up the album!
