The past, is that really good for the house or country r or democracy to ask? you are right to point out that was one of the contention points in the rule discussions, house republicans came together it was negotiated to return back to historical precedent, it was nancy pelosi who took away the motion to vacate the chair, rry any one member can stand up, it is still a majority rule congress, house republicans are unifieded and committed to focusing on issues mattered. it goes back to historic precedent prior to nancy pelosi, also importantly, there were other issues making sure members have voices, they can bring bills to the floor more easily and more accmore access abily, that is g good, i found at tail end of this past week, we came together.
