the summer. all of this as the agency maintains they have made big changes. tonight roughly a dozen newly released videos show rioters vicious attacks on police. in one video rioters are heard chanting our house. in another, a man in a pro-trump hat fights with law enforcement. and this footage captures the moment a rioter stole a badge and video from a d.c. police officer. six months later, capitol police say the agency is changing to adapt to the threat landscape. they purchased new equipment, offer new training and share intelligence with officers, something absent before rioters attacked the capitol. but officers tell cnn day re worried the changes amount to marginal differences and feel they re no better prepared today than early january. since the insurrection, at least 75 officers have resigned. providing security is done by people. those officers have to be rested, trained, sharp with good information and well-led. when moral is bad, that makes it more difficult.
