Washington County Special Election Today

Polls are open today to elect the next board supervisor for Washington County District 3, council member for the City of Washington Ward 3, and whether to continue the Highland School District’s Physical Plant and Equipment Levy (PPEL). Polls will be open from 7 a.m.-9 p.m. at the Ainsworth Elementary School Building and Brighton Community Building for the District 3 ballot, the Ainsworth Elementary School Building and Riverside City Hall for the PPEL ballot, and the Washington YMCA Community Room for Ward 3. Residents of Washington County District 3, the City of Washington’s Third Ward, and the Highland School District are reminded of a special election happening tomorrow. Polls will be open from 7 a.m.-9 p.m. for all three elections, with polling places open at the Ainsworth Elementary School Building for the District 3 Supervisor and Highland Physical Plant and Equipment Levy (PPEL) ballots, Brighton Community Building for District 3, Riverside City Hall for Highland PPEL, and the Washington YMCA Community Room for Ward 3. Candidates running for District 3 Supervisor are Marcus Fedler, Johnathan Bartholomew, Dwight Miller, and Josh Schreiber, and the candidates for Washington Ward 3 are Haleigh Brockman and Illa Earnest.
