As for the investigation, cal fire tells nbc news that investigators have been in the area of town, specifically high valley road and bottle rock road. Thats ten miles northwest of middletown. Evidence is being collected there and it will be a long process. At this point its way too early to speculate on the cause of this fire or the exact location of where it started. We got word today they may have to be there another week before theyre allowed to come back to middletown. Theyre really desperate and anxious, but a lot of help is pouring in.
