Fact we just adapted our budget the mayor signed it i cant remember last week he signed is and the resolution was introduced i guess the same and it strikes me as uncomfortable we guess through a budget process through the difficulties of a budget Analyst Report Progress Making the difficult choices and right as we are approving the budget doing a supplemental i understand the desire to had had supplemental but i i dont like the precedent that it sets. Thats not to say you know what might happen if this comes down as a supplemental over the course of the year well take that when it and if it comes. Ill say this to those aclu and other nonprofits one of the challenges we had this year as also in the context of the budget we have a very limit set of funds to work with when the budget comes to the board and its the way the system is set up the mayor has a lot more latitude in t ....

The city continue to see 25,000 new jobs even if the effect of the new minimum wage comes into effect. We looked into industry by industry and its a little less clear. The projections we looked at arrest unanimous are unanimous like the Restaurant Industry which will continue to grow even with the minimum wage impact. The personal services are a little less clear, some are projecting healthy growth and some are not. The overall story about the employment effect the citys economy will improve. The number of the jobs in the city will still be less than the city will expect to have with natural growth over the last 5 years. The only point of caution we would mention is that none of the projections we have looked at are anticipating a recession in the next 5 years. We may have a recession where the city will naturally lose jobs while the city is raising the minimum wage. The city may consider to add flexibility to this proposal t ....

Was really hard on us. So in theory i think that we already have a law in place for this. And so i am kind of saying why we have to add to it. And so i can see that if the people have been in jail for 30 days to 60 days and showing the Good Behavior and the staff are able to assess them, and see that yeah, they are possibly really low risk to the community to recommend that they be released on the electronic monitoring but much would prefer as i said or. And on the deversion. Thank you. Thank you. Very much. Next speaker, please . And good afternoon supervisors. And it was very interested and interesting to me for the da, because i support all parts of the law enforcement. But i was really surprised when the da compared the people like with a Million Dollar bond murder, you know, committing a murder, to what is going on here today. Because, i was like what . How can you just l ....
