Our Correspondent Imphal, Sep. 30 (EMN): A three-day training programme on ‘Food processing & value addition of different horticultural crops’ for Farmers Producer Company (FPC)- board of directors, chief executive officers and farmers concluded at ICAR-KVK Churachandpur on Friday. The training programme, which commenced on September 28, was organised by Clover Organic Private Limited in collaboration with ICAR- KVK Churachandpur and sponsored by Manipur Organic Mission Agency (MOMA) under the central scheme ‘Mission Organic Value Chain Development for North Eastern Region. KVK scientist Dr S Roma Devi and team gave practical trainings on the preparation of ready-to-serve squash, pickle, jam, candy, cheese and paste from horticultural crops like pineapple, passion fruit, amla, king chilli, guava and ginger. Our Correspondent Imphal, Sep. 28 (EMN): A three-day training programme on food processing and value addition of important horticultural crops of Manipur was formally launched on Wednesday at the Training Hall, ICAR- Krishi Vigyan Kendra in Churachandpur. The training programme is being organised by Clover Organic Private Limited (COPL), a service provider under Manipur Organic Mission Agency (MOMA), Department of Horticulture in collaboration with ICAR-KVK Churachandpur supported by MOMA under Mission Organic Value Chain Development for North Eastern Region (MOVCD-NER). Project Manager Pritam Singh of COPL and KVK Scientists, Dr. S Roma Devi and Dr. N Soranganba were present during the inaugural function of the training program. Speaking on the occasion, Pritam Singh said that the training programme will help the FPCs gain the required skills and experiences which they can further apply to prepare different products in FPC level with their own brand name. He also stated that after the
