Our Correspondent Imphal, Sep. 30 (EMN): A three-day training programme on ‘Food processing & value addition of different horticultural crops’ for Farmers Producer Company (FPC)- board of directors, chief executive officers and farmers concluded at ICAR-KVK Churachandpur on Friday. The training programme, which commenced on September 28, was organised by Clover Organic Private Limited in collaboration with ICAR- KVK Churachandpur and sponsored by Manipur Organic Mission Agency (MOMA) under the central scheme ‘Mission Organic Value Chain Development for North Eastern Region. KVK scientist Dr S Roma Devi and team gave practical trainings on the preparation of ready-to-serve squash, pickle, jam, candy, cheese and paste from horticultural crops like pineapple, passion fruit, amla, king chilli, guava and ginger.
