Vine street expressway underneath where there are no traffic lights is also of course jam packed across town. Getting onto 95 northbound, 54 minutes going on an hour on the northbound side. Thats about four times what it should be. At least you can see the lanes here. The lanes are mostly wet but theyre slippery enough that people are really needing to slow down and as we look at the big picture, you get a sense of all the red and all the single digit speeds around the region. It really is nasty. We had an overturned vehicle on the southbound northeast extension near quakertown. Looks like thats now off to the side so just starting to improve there with speeds in the 30s and in south jersey our travel times, a little better than it was earlier but still a really slow pace on the southbound side of 42. Half mile in philadelphia trenton because of that snow wilmington. 3 miles. There you see wildwood 9 miles with much lighter snow down there. So, visibilities are a bit better but that is also going to deteriorate a little bit later this afternoon. Temps are bitterly cold. 23 in allentown, 25 philadelphia. So its a fluffy snow and again cold enough that it is sticking on all surfaces. So, this is a very quick hit of snow but a very bad timing here. It will clear the coast at 7 oclock this evening. Temps tonight going 19 to 24 degrees. So, roads are going to remain very slick even after the snow departs.
