ever happening again. drew smith live at the hospital tonight. drew. reporter: we spoke one-on-one with the chief pediatrician here tonight. she couldn t answer many of our specific questions siting privacy issues but she did say one thing flat out and that s we re sorry. 11-month-old isaac has not had an easy life. he goes through these pain, losing hair, crying. reporter: his father described the latest challenge dealing with too much chemotherapy. the first thing i want to say how sorry we are that this mistake happened. reporter: the family provided paper work that shows an error led to a dose of 33 milligrams instead of 3.3 approximate this issue may have gone on for five days. the hospital s pediatrician and chief agreed to sit down with us. you need to be very, very careful with any drug we re administering whether it s chemotherapy or something else. reporter: we re asking what doctors are doing to make sure this doesn t happen again. they re in th ....
