Nagaland: ITI Kohima organises convocation ceremony

Our Correspondent Kohima, Sep. 19 (EMN): Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Kohima, organised its first convocation ceremony on Saturday 18 at ITI Complex.  Principal, ITI and deputy director, H Alongse, in his keynote address informed that Nagaland bagged the top list in the country for trainees passed in National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) Examination with 88.70%. Nagaland: Imnatiba inaugurates school of excellence in skill development

Dimapur, Sep. 12 (EMN):  Advisor, Labour & Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship and Industries & Commerce, Imnatiba, on Monday inaugurated the first School of Excellence in Skill Development in Nagaland at Government Higher Secondary School, Sechu, Zubza. A DIPR report stated that the advisor in his address said the School of Excellence in Skill Development in collaboration with the School Education (DoSE) and National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT) is a new of initiatives taken up by the department in government schools. The initiative is aimed at a paradigm shift to give new hope to the students and let them venture out into a new horizon, to let them get access to self-employment  and other avenues as even as the state is facing a huge unemployment problem.
