A man shot at officers missing one only by an inch. Reporter allison, you can imagine how dangerous the situation was, especially when you consider the officers were only a couple of feet away from the man when he shot a gun and hit one of their protective shields. We need to zoom in because they still have a couple of blocks closed. This happened just after 1 00 this morning when the officers domestic dispute. They talked with the man about 45 minutes before he grabbed a gun that was tucked into a towel that was around his waist. It at officers. Go off. The second time it hit an officers shield. The officer shot back, killing him. A woman in the home was not injured and is expected to be okay.
