Presented to city council. Yeah. This is a big moment for the city, because these plans could be the deciding factor on whether the rays stay right here in downtown st. Pete. And one of the biggest assets working in the citys favor right now is all the land down working in the citys favor right now is all the land down here. There are 86 acres available for development. And the city wants to see much more than parking lots. So if the city has will stay put and build their new stadium near the same place as the current one. It would take up about 15 acres of land, leaving about 70 acres for redevelopment. The citys economic leaders say this would be some sort of publicprivate partnership, and well likely see a mixeduse development that could include some combination of housing, retail, business and entertainment.
