tour. good morning and welcome to 10 news this morning. i am allison kropff. i am ian reitz. a man shot and killed on cherokee park which is near hind and gandy. a man shot at officers missing one only by an inch. reporter: allison, you can imagine how dangerous the situation was, especially when you consider the officers were only a couple of feet away from the man when he shot a gun and hit one of their protective shields. we need to zoom in because they still have a couple of blocks closed. this happened just after 1:00 this morning when the officers domestic dispute. they talked with the man about 45 minutes before he grabbed a gun that was tucked into a towel that was around his waist. it at officers. go off. the second time it hit an officer s shield. the officer shot back, killing him. a woman in the home was not injured and is expected to be okay. right now we are working to find out how many officers will be on paid administrative leave and also the identity o
