According to information published by Zawiya on March 15, 2021, Talwar-class frigate INS Talwar (F40) of the Indian Navy arrives at Mina Salman Port (Bahrain) as part of Operation Sankalp.

INS Talwar’s visit highlights the Indian Navy’s commitment to build co-operative partnerships with friendly nations of the Indian Ocean to develop solutions to meet maritime challenges together.
INS Talwar (F40) (translated as ‘Sword’) is the lead ship of Talwar-class guided missile frigates and was commissioned into the Indian Navy on June 18, 2003.

AGRA: All India Congress Committee General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi’s plan to address a Kisan Mahapanchayat in Mathura on Friday has been postponed to February 23 due to demise of Veteran Congress leader Captain Satish Sharma.
In a letter issued by Gandhi’s office, it was stated that her program has been postponed due to the untimely demise of Captain Sharma. “Sharma was a dear friend who stood by the family through thick and thin. People of Amethi and Raebareli will always remember him as a people’s person who stood by them during difficult times, she said, adding that she and her family have lost a true friend.

Veteran Congress leader and former Union Minister Captain Satish Sharma passed away, the party’s chief spokesperson, Randeep Surjewala, said on Wednesday.
“Deeply saddened at the demise of Capt. Satish Sharma, former Union Minister. Capt. Sharma epitomised dedication and loyalty. Condolences to the family and friends,” Mr. Surjewala tweeted late on Wednesday evening.
