As we go through the forecast today we are going to have high temperatures reaching into the mid70s for much of the inner bay and our inland valleys. A few low 80s on the map. What can you tell us right now about where things stand on the firefight in the north bay right now. As you saw a fire containment obviously not really happening right now of the fire growth has increased serve of the day. Its been really in in the napa and sonoma areas so obviously thats helping the fire spread. As well as very no humidity recovery overnights making a very challenging to the firefighters. Wilson walker is live in calistoga for us right now. Reporter anyone who lives anywhere between calistoga and santa rosa has been through these power shutoffs. Half dozen times, maybe more. So the same communities keep getting wrapped up in this. So power goes out today, although people like it or not, they know the drill. Hanging in there, it could be worse, we could be evacuated. Six indicators. One, the ability to expand testing, monitor and possibly isolate anybody that has been exposed or infected. Two, the ability to protect our most vulnerable population such as the elderly and the homeless. Three, that we have hospitals and the Health Care System that can handle surges. Four, that were able to develop therapeutics to meet demand. Five, the ability for businesses, schools and child care facilities to support physical distancing. And six, the ability to determine when to reinstate certain measures, such as the stay at home if necessary. We have state vision, but it will be recognized at the local level. So what will it look like . Newsom said its too soon to get a timeline for meeting these measures. He says when we do, it wont look like a perfect back to normal.
